Curtis Ross Dalebozik, 38, has been charged with manslaughter in the death of 51-year-old Kyriakos Vogiatzakis.
On Jan. 24, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a fight between two men in front of a business in the 3100 block of Portage Avenue. Police found a man requiring medical attention when they arrived. He was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he later died.
Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate and say that the two men had prior contact near the business.
The two became involved in a fight, resulting in Vogiatzakis being pushed to the ground and further assaulted until he lost consciousness.
He has been remanded in custody
