A rainbow crosswalk in Fort Nelson, B.C. was defaced by a vehicle stunting, including doing burnouts around the community.
On July 21, Fort Nelson RCMP were contacted after a vehicle was observed stunting around the community by doing burnouts and allegedly purposely defacing the town’s rainbow crosswalk. The vehicle was described as an older pickup truck.
“The actions of the vehicle around the community are not only unsafe and illegal, but also hateful”, says Sergeant Christian Drabosenig of the Northern Rockies RCMP detachment. “These actions will not be tolerated, and we are seeking the support of the community to hold those offenders accountable” he adds.
