On July 16, St. Albert RCMP Drug Unit, with assistance from the St. Albert RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, and the Edmonton Police Service, executed a search warrant on a vehicle and a residence in Edmonton. As a result of the investigation and search warrants, police located and seized the following items:
- 621 grams of suspected methamphetamine;
- 20.75 litres of suspected GHB;
- 755 grams of suspected cocaine;
- 40 rounds of firearms ammunition;
- A crossbow;
- $4190 in Canadian currency;
- Drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
Andrew Fenwick Forsey (43), a resident of Edmonton, has been charged with the following offences:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – GHB;
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine;
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine;
- Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000;
- Possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order x2.
Forsey appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was released following a Judicial Interim Release hearing. Forsey is scheduled to appear in court in Edmonton on Aug 14, 2026.
