Toronto police have identified Tuesday’s homicide victim as as Nathan Samuel, 24, of Toronto.
They have charged Jared Shokoff, 18, of Toronto, with second-degree murder. He appeared in court at Toronto Regional Bail Centre on Dec. 12.
Toronto police say that they responded to a call in the Lockwood Road and Queen Street East area at about 6:10 a.m. on Dec. 12. The reports they received was that a man lying on the ground. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
