FORT NELSON, BC, — Charges have been laid following an investigation that started in the summer of 2025 by the Northern Rockies RCMP that resulted in the seizure of approximately five kilograms of suspected cocaine.
As part of the investigation, officers gathered evidence that was submitted to the Public Prosecution Service of Canada for charge assessment.
Basim Mansur, 41, of Surrey, BC has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon.
