CLAIRMONT, Alta., — On July 6, at 10:40 p.m., a Clairmont RCMP officer, who was running laser on Highway 43 between Grande Prairie and Wembley, stopped a vehicle doing 202 km/hr in a 110 zone.

The 46-year-old Grande Prairie resident was given a mandatory court summons for speeding and careless driving.
RCMP is reminding the public that speed kills so please slow down and drive according to the rules of the road.
