The Toronto Police Service is investigating a murder of Tatiana Shamalov that happened on Dec. 1 and have arrested Imtiaz Ahmed.
Officers responded to a call in the Yonge Street and Kempford Boulevard area.
The victim has been identified as Tatiana Shamalov, 71, of Toronto.
This is Toronto’s 39th homicide of 2025.
Imtiaz Ahmed, 44, of Toronto, was arrested on Monday, December 15, 2025, and charged with manslaughter
He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 10 a.m., in room 105.
