On October 20th, 2025, at approximately10:48 a.m., Abbotsford Police Patrol Officers responded to a reported robbery near the intersection of Gladwin Road and South Fraser Way.
The victim, a 79-year-old man, stated that he stopped to assist an unhoused individual
who appeared to be in distress. When he approached, the man and an accomplice
assaulted and robbed him of his belongings.
During the incident, a motorist driving a white Dodge Ram pickup truck (shown below)
briefly intervened. However, before officers arrived, the driver left the scene without
speaking to police.
Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this witness driver, as
they may have crucial information to advance the investigation.
