Investigators believe that there may be more victims

An Ajax man, Rocchino Perrotto, 53, was arrested after police say he used “deception, coercion and control” in trafficking a 16-year-old girl in the sex trade.
He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on October 16, 2025.
In September 2025, the Human Trafficking Unit commenced an investigation.
It is alleged that through a combination of deception, coercion and control, the accused trafficked a 16-year-old female victim. The money earned by the victim was given to the accused and was kept by him. The victim was forced to take sexualized pictures which were used to distribute online. The victim was transported to a hotel in the City of Toronto where she was forced to meet clients for sexual services.
On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the Toronto Police Service Human Trafficking Enforcement Team executed two Criminal Code search warrants at an address in Ajax.
As a result, Rocchino Perrotto, 53, of Ajax, was located, arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking in Persons Under 18 Comprehensive
- Procuring/Person Under 18 Years
- Obtaining Sexual Services For Consideration From Person Under 18 Years
- Print/Publish/Possess to Publish Child Pornography
- Advertising Another Person’s Sexual Services
- Forcible Confinement
- Sexual Exploitation of a Young Person
- Material benefit from Sexual Service Provided by Person Under 18 Years
- Sexual Assault Causing Bodily Harm
- Print/Publish/Possess to Publish Child Pornography
- Possess Proceeds of Property Or Thing Obtained By Crime/ Exceeding $5000

Human Trafficking means every person who recruits, transports, transfers, receives, holds, conceals or harbours a person, or exercises control, direction or influence over the movements of a person, for the purpose of exploiting them or facilitating their exploitation, for a sexual purpose or a forced labour purpose.
