One officer and his family are now under protective measures
The Longueuil agglomeration police service (SPAL) says it has launched an investigation after several of its officers received threats Sept. 24.
In a statement on social media, the force said one officer and his family are now under protective measures after being targeted online. The officers’ identities haven’t been revealed for security reasons, and additional safety measures have been put in place, say police.
