The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Carl Chateauvert, 34, who is wanted in multiple investigations which include, Assault with a Weapon, Dangerous Opearation of Motor Vehicle, Break and Enter, and Fraud.

It is alleged that:
- on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., the suspect attended a business in the Dundas Street West and Parkway Avenue area
- the suspect used a tool to pick the lock of the business, and gained entry
- once inside the suspect filled a garbage bag with merchandise and fled
It is further alleged that:
- on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at approximately 11 a.m., the suspect attended a motel in the Kingston Road and Galloway Road area
- the suspect approached a parked vehicle with three occupants and pulled out a weapon
- the suspect assaulted two of the three occupants, and fled the area
It is further alleged that:
- on Monday, February 17, 2025, at approximately 4:20 a.m., the suspect attended a residence in the Yonge Street and Highway 401 area
- the suspect approached a parked vehicle and gained entry
- the suspect stole the vehicle owner’s wallet and credit cards
It is further alleged that:
- on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at approximately 2:20 a.m., the suspect attended a residence in the Yonge Street and Malborough Avenue area
- the suspect approached a parked vehicle, and broke into the vehicle
- the suspect stole personal items belonging to the registered owner
It is further alleged that:
- on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, police observed the suspect parked in a parking lot in the Huntley Street and Isabella Street area
- Officers attempted to approach the suspect for further investigation
- the suspect rammed 3 police vehicles and fled the scene in a white Nissan Sentra
- there were no reported injuries
Carl Chateauvert, of, no fixed address, is wanted for:
- two counts of Assault with a Weapon
- two counts of Assault Cause Bodily Harm
- two counts of Carry Concealed Weapon
- nine counts of Fail to Comply Release Order
- Theft Under $5000
- Mischief Not Exceeding $5000
- Possess of Credit Card Obtained by Crime
- four counts of Use Credit Card Obtained by Crime
- Fraud Under $5000
- Theft of a Credit Card
- Break and Enter Commit
- Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
- Flight from Police
He is described as 6″, approximately 200 lbs., with a receding hairline from the front forehead area. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing, with a black puffer style winter jacket, and dark satchel worn in the centre area of his body. He also has a tattoo on his left arm.

Police are urging the public to not approach Chateauvert if located and contact police immediately.
