A high-ranking street gang member who keeps getting criminal charges dropped in court has been arrested – again.
Courtlin Littlewolfe of Onion Lake Cree Nation, was arrested after a high-speed dangerous police chase on Nov. 19.
At approximately 8:35 a.m. on Nov. 19, Loon Lake, Sask., RCMP received reports that two stolen vehicles were heading northbound on Highway 26 towards Loon Lake. More calls came in saying that the occupants inside one of the vehicles had a firearm and had pointed it at a man.
Loon Lake RCMP made patrols in the area and later found the car that matched the description on Ministikwan Lake Cree Nation. Officers activated their emergency equipment and tried to stop the vehicle but the vehicle swerved to avoid police and fled north on Highway 21 towards Pierceland.
Due to the safety risk, officers followed the car. The occupants of the car started throwing items out of the car window, including gas cans, stereos, a floor mat, bags, and a number of other unknown objects. No damage to the police vehicle was reported.
Police say that for safety reasons, a tire deflation device was set up and the car ran it over near the Beaver River Bridge, south of Pierceland on Highway 21, causing two of the car’s tires to deflate. A tire fell off the car but the driver continued to flee from police at a high rate of speed heading towards, and eventually merging onto, Highway 55. Officers continued to follow, and observed the car cross over into oncoming traffic, almost hitting another vehicle.
Due to the increased risk to public safety, officers made further attempts to stop the car. The car entered into a field, damaging a fence, and then came to a stop. The driver of the car and three passengers exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Shortly after, officers arrested three adult males and an adult female nearby.
Police seized about 195 grams of crystal meth, ammunition, brass knuckles, a hatchet, and drug trafficking paraphernalia in the car and on the arrested individuals.
RCMP say they also connected an incident earlier on Nov. 19 to the accused. They say a group of people went into a home on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation and assaulted two males inside the residence, pointing a firearm at one of them. No injuries were reported to police.

Courtlin Littlewolfe’s previous charges
In September 2022, Courtlin Littlewolfe of Onion Lake Cree Nation, Rene Singer, 18, of Lloydminster, Alta., and 34-year-old Crystal Heathen of Lloydminster, Sask.
Littlewolfe was charged with nine firearms related offences and was alleged to have a loaded prohibited firearm at the time. Hew as also charged with resisting a peace officer.
But three months later, a stay of proceedings of all charges against the three were entered in Lloydminster Saskatchewan Provincial Court.
Courtlin Kayne Clive Johnson Littlewolfe, of Onion Lake, Sask., also goes by the name of Courtlin Clive Whitstone.
In March 2022, drug trafficking charges were also stayed against Littlewolfe in Lloydminster Alberta Provincial Court. When the Crown stays charges the charges are put on hold for one year. The charges can be brought back before the court within a year but this doesn’t happen often. One reason why the Crown stays charges is because there may be a lack of evidence or witnesses may be hostile and not co-operating. The Crown prosecutor with then stay the charges to keep the criminal charges live for a year in case the Crown wants to proceed again.

Littlewolfe had been charged following a dangerous police pursuit in Lloydminster in January 2021. In the vehicle, police had found more than $47,000 in drugs, including heroin, methamphetamine, and cocaine, more than $8,000 in cash, a handgun, ammunition, a knife, and Westside Outlawz street gang paraphernalia.
Littlewolfe did, however, plead guilty to two counts of obstruction of a peace officer, three counts of failing to appear in court, and driving while prohibited in three separate incidents. He was sentenced to 10 months in jail.
