A storage unit was deliberately set on fire at a U-Haul storage facility in the area of 111 Avenue and 154 Street earlier this year and Edmonton Police have released photos Friday in the hopes the public can identify the suspect.
Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) had been called to a fire in the storage unit at about 9:59 p.m. on Aug. 5. They had determined the fire was suspicious and called Edmonton Police. The building suffered significant damage that is expected to cost millions of dollars to repair.
Detectives with the West Division Investigative Response Team (IRT) continue to investigate, and the fire has since been confirmed to be an arson.
The male in the photos released by police entered and exited the facility several times just prior to the fire, changing his shirt multiple times. After the fire started, he left the facility heading south through the parking lot.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about the suspect seen in the images below to contact the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
