A fourth Alberta church has been destroyed by fire this month. This time it was the Seventh-day Adventist church in Beiseker. A fire inspector has ruled the fire as arson and RCMP are investigating.
On Dec. 20 at about 6:24 a.m., Airdrie Integrated Rural RCMP received a complaint of a structure fire at the Beiseker Seventh-day Adventist Church, located on Range Road 242 in Wheatland County. When fire crews arrived, the church was fully engulfed in flames.




Earlier this month three other churches were set on fire and being investigated as arson.
On Dec. 15, the St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Janvier was destroyed by fire and police are looking for a silver sedan witnesses saw driving away from the church around the time it went up in flames.
On Dec. 7, at approximately 7:52 p.m., Barrhead RCMP responded to a structure fire at The Glenreagh Church, located on Range Road 40 in Barrhead. Two hours later, Barrhead RCMP responded to a second structure fire at The United Church, located on Range Road 54 in Barrhead.
