Dec. 11 marked one year since 38-year-old Marc Ellis was killed in a hit and run in Abbotsford, B. C.
Abbotsford Police Department said Ellis had noticed a dog wandering on the roadway in the 3600 block of Lefeuvre Rd Abbotsford around midnight, on Dec. 11, 2022.
Pulling over, he exited his vehicle to corral the dog. Around the same time, two individuals left a nearby party, driving a red Dodge Ram pickup truck, which later collided with Marc, killing him.
The driver and passenger were observed on security cameras fleeing the accident on foot, abandoning the vehicle registered to an Abbotsford business.
During the case, investigators have acquired evidence and approached witnesses that provided information to us.
Investigators believe that there are persons that still have vital information.
