A Calgary man was arrested after police say he was handing out business cards at a downtown casino that had free samples of cocaine attached to the card.
On Feb. 3, Seyyed Amir Razavi, 30, was charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and three counts of possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000. Razavi was calling himself “Alex Lee.”
On Dec. 24, 2023, officers who were patrolling a downtown casino became aware of a business card that had been handed out to patrons at the casino. The card included the name “Alex Lee” and had a small baggie with a sample of suspected cocaine attached.

Investigators tracked down the suspect going by the alias of “Alex Lee” and throughout January gathered evidence consistent with drug trafficking involving the suspect and a vehicle he was believed to be utilizing.
After a traffic stop on Feb. 3, on a 2020, white, Toyota Tundra, police executed a search warrant on the vehicle as well as at a residence in the 0-100 block of Beaconsfield Place N.W. Police seized 59.6 grams of cocaine, individually portioned in more than 50 baggies, a digital scale with drug residue, $1,280 cash, and business cards with “Alex Lee.”
Razavi was released from custody and will next appear in court on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024.
