LOWER MAINLAND, BC — An investigation by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia (CFSEU-BC) has resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of illicit drugs, firearms, cash, and other evidence linked to an organized crime group operating throughout the Lower Mainland.
The investigation began in October 2025 and focused on an organized crime group believed to be involved in a drug trafficking network supplying illicit substances to communities including Burnaby, Vancouver, Coquitlam, Richmond, New Westminster, and Surrey.
Throughout the investigation, CFSEU-BC investigators identified multiple locations believed to be used in support of the group’s drug trafficking activities.
On June 2, CFSEU-BC, with the assistance of the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed four search warrants at locations in Coquitlam and Delta.

As a result of the searches, investigators seized:
- Approximately two kilograms of fentanyl;
- Approximately two kilograms of crack cocaine;
- Approximately half kilo of crystal methamphetamine;
- Approximately 50 pounds of vacuum-sealed cannabis;
- One Glock 9 mm handgun with magazine;
- A second Glock handgun;
- Approximately 20 kilograms of caffeine, commonly used as a cutting or
buffing agent; - Approximately $21,000 in cash
- Approximately half pound of psilocybin (magic mushrooms) and
- Multiple cellular phones.
“This investigation targeted a longstanding drug trafficking enterprise operated by an organized crime group that is alleged to have generated significant illicit profits over many years,” said S/Sgt. Ryan Johnston Acting CFSEU-BC Operations Officer.
“The seizure of these drugs, firearms, and proceeds of crime demonstrates the commitment of CFSEU-BC and its policing partners to disrupting organized crime networks and enhancing public safety throughout British Columbia.”
Multiple individuals were arrested during the enforcement action and have since been released pending further investigation. Investigators are continuing to advance the file and charges are anticipated.
CFSEU-BC acknowledges and thanks its policing and public safety partners for their assistance throughout this enforcement operation. The successful execution of the search warrants and related enforcement activities was made possible through the coordinated efforts of the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team, Coquitlam RCMP, Chilliwack RCMP, Delta Bylaw Services, and Integrated Forensic Identification Services.
