Coquitlam RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a historical missing person. Le-Roi La France. Le-Roi was last seen on March 20, 1964, leaving the family home. Le-Roi would have been 19-years-old at the time and would be 79 now.
The missing person investigation for Le-Roi was taken over by Coquitlam RCMP in 2016 when it was believed he may have resided in Coquitlam in 1964. Although foul play is not suspected, it has also not been completely ruled out.
Le-Roi is an Indigenous man. He has short brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot-5 and a slim build. He wears glasses.
Throughout the years, police have continued their search efforts in locating Le-Roi who has not been seen since 1964.
“This year, Le-Roi will have been missing for 60 years,” said Staff Sergeant Ed Yoshiyama, Coquitlam RCMP Investigative Services Support (ISS) Commander.
“We haven’t given up hope that we might find new information to aid in our search for answers in this historical missing case. We are asking if anyone has seen him or know of his whereabouts, please contact the Coquiltam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2016-10428.”
