THOMPSON, Man., — Thompson RCMP looking for two suspects involved in home invasion
On May 19, 2026, at 6:15 am, Thompson RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence located on Princeton Drive.
Information provided to police was that two male suspects, one armed with a handgun and the other a machete, attended to the residence and kicked open the front door. Once entry had been gained, the two suspects entered the home and discharged a can of bear spray. The two suspects then fled the scene on foot.
The occupants of the home were later treated on scene by EMS for the bear spray exposure with no other injuries being reported.
The two suspects, who were immediately identified by police, were not located after extensive patrols in the area.
RCMP have issued warrants of arrest out for 34-year-old Franky Moore and 17-year-old Donovan Moore, both of Thompson, who have been charged with Breaking and entering, Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and Mischief under $5000.
