PARKLAND COUNTY, Alta. — A 69-year-old Edmonton man is dead after a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Parkland County on Thursday morning.
Parkland RCMP responded to the crash at Highway 627 between Range Road 273 and 274 at about 6:18 a.m. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The 82-year-old pickup truck driver, a Spruce Grove resident, wasn’t injured.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Police said the scene is expected to be cleared shortly and the roadway will reopen to traffic.
