SHERWOOD PARK, Alta. – On Aug. 9, at approximately 1:57 a.m., Strathcona County RCMP received a report from Strathcona County Fire Services, of a structure fire at a residence on Glengarry Crescent in Sherwood Park.
RCMP members attended the scene. The initial investigation suggests that the fire was deliberately set.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation and the Strathcona County RCMP General Investigation Section has taken carriage of the investigation.
Police are sharing a surveillance video image from Aug. 8, between 10:40 p.m. and 11:25 p.m., that shows three individuals walking a dog along Glengarry Crescent that appear to stop and speak with two people on bicycles. Police would like to speak to the individuals as it’s believed they may have information in relation to the investigation.
