Police search for white SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or Chevy Equinox, with unit #019 marked on it
WETASKIWIN, Alta., — A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with non‑life‑threatening injuries after a hit‑and‑run collision on Highway 2A south of Millet early Wednesday evening, according to Wetaskiwin RCMP.
On May 26 around 6 p.m., Wetaskiwin RCMP responded to a collision involving a motorcycle. The bike was travelling Northbound on Highway 2A, when it attempted to overtake a semi and was struck by another vehicle doing the same.
The biker lost control and rolled over in the ditch. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle, described as a white SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or Chevy Equinox, with unit #019 marked on it, failed to stop at the scene.
