Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Crimes Bureau are seeking a 34-year-old man wanted for Assault and Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition contrary to three prohibition orders.
On Monday, February 3, 2025, at approximately 9:45 p.m., police were called to a motel in the area of Highway 48 and Thomas Drive, in the Town of Georgina, for reports of an assault. When officers arrived, they learned that the victim was assaulted by the suspect who police believe is in possession of a firearm.
A warrant was executed on February 4, 2025, at a unit associated to the suspect. Investigators located ammunition for a firearm and a quantity of substances believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine.
Kariym WHITE, 34, of the Town of Georgina, is wanted for numerous offences. Police have been unable to locate him and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Investigators are releasing his image and appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.
WHITE is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, citizens are urged not to approach him but to call police immediately. He is encouraged to seek legal advice and turn himself in.
At the time of the incident, WHITE was on three weapons prohibition orders and probation order for unrelated offences.
