The Edmonton Police Service Homicide Section has charged a 24-year-old man in relation to the death of a Michal Sadomski that occurred last week.
White Mngope Nganika, 24, has since been charged with second-degree murder.
At approximately 6:30 a.m., May 3, patrol officers responded to the area of 118 Avenue and 90 Street on multiple reports of an assault. When officers arrived, they located a man in medical distress. Paramedics responded and transported the man to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
On May 6, an autopsy completed by the Edmonton Medical Examiner determined that Michal Sadomski, 44, died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head and chest.
