Wetaskiwin RCMP Crime Reduction Unit arrested repeat offender and charged her with weapons and drug-related offences.
Crystal Depagie, 45, of Wetaskiwin, was identified by the Crime Reduction Unit on Feb. 16 as a repeat offender and that she was driving a vehicle.
Officers conducted surveillance of the vehicle and observed a different repeat offender in the vehicle who had outstanding warrants. A traffic stop was conducted and the passenger with outstanding warrants was arrested.
After a search of the vehicle, officers located quantities of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl and GHB.
Depagie was charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Depagie was brought before a justice of the peace and released with her next court date set for March 14 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Wetaskiwin.
