Alberta RCMP Auto Theft Unit executed a search warrant on Jan. 10 in St. Albert and seized two re-VINed vehicles including a BMW 330XI and an Infiniti Q50 valued at $60,000.
Nancy Ma, 44, of St. Albert, has been charged with two counts each of possession of property over $5,000 obtained by crime, fraudulent concealment, and utter a forged document.
Ma was released from custody with a court date set for Feb. 26, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Albert.
In late April 2023, the Alberta RCMP Auto theft Unit began an investigation into vehicles that were suspected to be re-VINed and registered in St. Albert.
