On Jan. 31, 2024, Cochrane RCMP received a call of a disturbance at a local residence. The complainant reported that the victim had been seriously injured and was being transported to a Calgary hospital. The suspect was still in the residence.
Officers attended and the woman surrendered to police without incident.
Rhonda Campbell, 73, a resident of Rocky View County, has been charged with attempted murder. Rhonda Campbell appeared in Calgary court on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, where her matter was adjourned until Feb. 5, 2024.
