Newfoundland RCMP seized more than $100,000 cash, more than 1.2 kilograms of cocaine, quantities of methamphetamine, oxycodone, hydromorphone, and various other controlled substances after executing a search warrant.
During the search, officers also located a shotgun, ammunition and thousands of unstamped contraband cigarettes.
Two people from Grand Falls-Windsor, 51-year-old Bonnie Tucker and 27-year-old Blake Tucker, and one individual from Bishops Falls, 21-year-old Brady Benson, were arrested on Dec. 30, 2023, after the execution of the warrant by Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP.
The three are each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (CDSA) and possession of unstamped tobacco. Brady Benson faces an additional charge of resisting arrest.
They appeared in court and were released from custody and are set to appear in court at a later date.
The investigation is continuing with additional charges expected.
