A 51-year-old man was shot and killed on Saturday in and the Saint John Police Major Crime Unit are investigating.
On Dec. 16, at approximately 8:22 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call that a man had been shot at a home in the 500-block of Pleasant Street West. On arrival, police found a 51-year-old man deceased in the residence.
The Major Crime Unit, Forensic Services, and the Coroner’s office were called to investigate. An autopsy and investigation will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with video surveillance that captures Pleasant Street West.
