A 40-year-old woman has died after fleeing from a house fire in the 200 block of 4 Avenue West in Hanna Monday.
On Dec. 18, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Hanna RCMP received a report of the fire.
Hanna Fire Department arrived at the scene and found a woman lying by the sidewalk in front of the home. She succumbed to her injuries, which are believed to be as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hanna RCMP, Hanna Fire Department, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
