Police say she applied for and worked for health care jobs in B. C. and Alberta
Charrybelle Talaue, 34, has been arrested after allegedly applying for a nursing job with forged documents.
Central Saanich Police say that from Dec. 1 to Dec. 15, Talaue committed forgery by making false documents, a Certificate of Marriage, Alberta Personal Health Card, Certificate of Canadian Citizenship, and Affidavit of Name Change knowing the documents to be false.
Deputy Chief Kevin Hackett of the Central Saanich Police Service said, “The ongoing collaboration and support from our partners including Island Health, the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives, and Alberta Health Services greatly assisted us in this investigation.”
Police also say from Sept. 22 to Dec. 15, at or near Sidney, Talaue fraudulently impersonated Yves Anglehard with intent to gain advantage for herself.
Central Saanich Police were contacted by Island Health staff in early October after Talaue had applied for a nursing position using suspicious documents in her application.
As part of the investigation, B. C. College of Nurses and Midwives confirmed that Talaue was not, and never has been, a Registered Nurse in B. C.
Central Saanich Police Service believe that Talaue applied for and worked for other health care jobs in B. C. and Alberta under aliases that include:
Charrybelle Perez Talaue
Charrybelle Talaue Baldesancho
Belle Talaue
Belle Marie
Charrybelle Baldesancho
Charie Talaue
Yves Anglehart
Belle Yves Talaue Anglehart
Charie Talaue.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
