GRANDE PRAIRIE, Alta., — On July 3, Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit arrested 29-year-old Mackenzie County resident Amadeus Laforce in the suspicious death of 23-year-old Cheyenne Omeasoo in August 2020. He has been charged with second-degree murder.
Police say sometime in the five hours between 8 p.m. Aug. 11, 2020, and 1 a.m. the next day, 23-year-old Cheyenne Omeasoo died in her Mountview Manor apartment.
