CALGARY, Alta., — Homicide investigators are asking for the public’s help to locate a 25-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for murder following a fatal assault earlier this year in southeast Calgary in the community of Ogden.
“Our Homicide Unit continues to investigate the death of a man that occurred earlier this year in the community of Ogden,” police said in a release.
At approximately 9 p.m., on March 25, police were called for reports of a physical altercation occurring in a home in the 2300 block of Crestwood Road S.E.
Upon arrival, a man in his 20s was located suffering from life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital where he later died.
The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Investigators are releasing a photo of a man who is believed to be connected to the fatal assault, in hopes of advancing the investigation.
Makuey Nhial, 25, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for murder. He is described as 6′ tall, approximately 154 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
