CALGARY, Alta., — Calgary Police Service have charged Cavan Dillon Cachene, 37, with second-degree murder.
Following an autopsy conducted on May 19, by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the death has been ruled a homicide, and the victim has been identified as Jerry Wayne Bull, 42, of Calgary.
At approximately 11:10 p.m., on May 17, police were called to the Emerald Hotel and Suites located at 2750 Sunridge Blvd. N.E., for reports of a man in medical distress. Upon arrival, officers located a dead man inside the hotel.
Cachene was arrested at the scene was remanded on unrelated warrants and later charged with murder.
