Officers provided emergency medical care to both victims before they were transported to hospital in critical condition.
The 23-year-old victim died, while the 21-year-old victim was upgraded to stable condition. The deceased victim has been identified as 23-year-old Andrew Chartrand of Winnipeg. The Homicide Unit continued to investigate, which led to the identification and arrest of Beaulieu.
