Police have identified the victim of a fatal attack at a St. Anne’s Road apartment complex as 80-year-old Gladys Bellamy.
On April 21, 2026, just before 11:30 p.m., Winnipeg Police Service officers responded to reports of a homicide in the 1200 block of St. Anne’s Road. East District General Patrol members arrived to find Bellamy suffering from fatal injuries.
Investigators with the Homicide Unit have determined that the victim and suspect were known to one another. A male suspect was arrested at the scene.
Police have charged 74-year-old Jose Francisco Raulino with second-degree murder. He remains in custody.
