On July 23, 2025, the Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit arrested 67-year-old Alma Zurawell and charged her with manslaughter.
On December 8, 2022, North District General Patrol officers attended to a private residence in the 1-99 block of Sardelle Crescent in regards to a suspicious death, where 65-year-old David Zurawell was located deceased.
The Homicide Unit assumed the investigation.
