Calgary Police are asking for the public’s help to identify an unknown man believed to be responsible for sexually assaulting and robbing a woman in a hotel room located in northeast Calgary.
On Friday, May 16, 2025, at approximately 3 p.m., the suspect entered a hotel located in the 100 block of Freeport Boulevard N.E, where he met with an unknown woman in a hotel room.
Shortly after his arrival, the suspect threatened the woman and brandished a knife while demanding cash, the victim’s cellphone and access to the room safe.
The suspect then proceeded to restrain the victim and sexually assault her several times before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and the victim’s cellphone.
Police were contacted and began an investigation.
After following all investigative leads, Calgary Police are now asking for the public’s help to identify the man believed to be responsible.
The suspect is described as a man approximately 20 to 30 years old, between 5’8” and 5’11” tall, between 150 and 200 pounds, with a medium build, short black hair and black facial hair. He was last seen wearing a white Puma hoodie, blue or grey pants and grey running shoes.
