A man was fatally shot inside a home in Vancouver early Sunday morning, in Vancouver’s second homicide of the year.
Vancouver Police say they were called out to a house near the intersection of Kootenay and Dundas streets just before 4:30 a.m. PT on Sunday. A 49-year-old man had been shot. He died at the scene.
Police say two suspects, both in their 20s, have been arrested in the case.
Vancouver police haven’t identified the victim or whether the homicide was targeted.
The investigation remains ongoing. Detectives from VPD’s Forensic Identification Unit and Major Crime Section will be working in the area throughout the day to collect evidence.
