The Toronto Police Service is investigating the stabbing death of Paulo Mota, 38, of Toronto.
On Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at 2:38 a.m., police responded to a call for a stabbing in the Dovercourt Road and Geary Avenue area.
Police say officers arrived at a residence and located a male victim suffering from a stab wound. Life-saving measures were commenced and the victim was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Monday, February 24, 2025, the victim succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
The victim has been identified as Paulo Mota, 38, of Toronto.
This is Toronto’s 4th Homicide of 2025.
