Three Slave Lake men face significant financial fraud charges.
Edmonton Police charged Gordon Conrad Greyeyes, 41, and Daniel Ryan Kuhbert, 33, each with 60 counts of fraud and possession of stolen property under $5,000. Kuhberg was additionally charged with mischief under $5,000.
Slave lake RCMP and Edmonton Police Service (EPS) had started a joint fraud investigation that involved offences between Sept. 13 and Dec. 7. Multiple instances of financial fraud were committed. As a result of the investigation, on Dec. 7, 2023, Slake Lake RCMP General Investigation Services (GIS), Slave Lake RCMP and EPS executed a search warrant at a residence in Slave Lake. During the search, police say they found a significant amount of evidence to support charges.
Greyeyes was remanded in custody with his next court date set for Jan. 3, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Slave Lake.
Daniel was remanded in custody with his next court date set for Jan. 10, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Slave Lake.
