On Dec. 14, Hamilton Police said they have charged 35-year-old Tyler Barberstock with second-degree murder in the death of homeless man 33-year-old Tyler Hayden Robitaille from Hamilton.
Police say that Robitaille ran from a homeless camp and collapsed in front of the YMCA on Jackson Street following an altercation at 3 a.m. on Sept. 27.
He was found with life-threatening injuries to his upper body. He was taken to hospital and died.
Robitaille’s obituary said he left behind four children and he “spent his time making everyone laugh, entertaining others, and spending time with his kids.”
