On May 9, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Peace Regional RCMP were conducting proactive patrols when a structure fire was noted on the corner of 94 Avenue and 98 Street in Peace River.
As RCMP were arriving 911 calls regarding the structure fire were coming in from nearby community members; shortly after, members from our local Peace River Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services arrived.
RCMP are seeking any assistance from the public who have not yet spoken to police, or may have dashcam or house footage of this area, around the time of 4:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M., that may be of value to this investigation.

This investigation is still ongoing and RCMP would like to extend gratitude to all first responders and community members for their assistance thus far.
The Peace Regional RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the location of, or sightings of any persons who were at or near the building which caught fire.
