Edmonton Police are investigating two homicides that occurred in the city on Feb. 26.
Northeast patrol officers were called to a home around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 to the area of 147 Ave. and 77 Street to a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a 38-year-old man in medical distress and provided him with first aid until EMS arrived. He was declared deceased at the scene.
Southwest Patrol Officers were called to reports of gunshots in the area of 106 Street and 74 Ave. at about 6 p.m.
When they arrived they didn’t find anything suspicious.
Then, at about 11:20 p.m., officers responded to a home in the same area for a report of a deceased male. Police and paramedics arrived and the man was declared deceased at the scene.
