A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Edmonton man Gibriil Bakal, 29, for first-degree murder in the death of Jama Roble, 33 years old, of Ottawa on Feb. 9.
He is described as a black male, 6’1 in height and 190 pounds.
Ottawa Police Service already arrested Sharmaake Abdi Abdi Hire, 28, of Ottawa and charged him with accessory after the fact to murder. He appeared in court Feb. 10 and was remanded in custody.
The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating Roble’s murder after he was shot to in the 100 block of Champagne Avenue South on Jan. 29 at approximately 1:15 p.m.
