Joel William Hofer, 35, and David Andre Letourneau-Janveaux, 30, both of Calgary were arrested by Ponoka RCMP during a break and enter in progress at a commercial property off 50 Street in Ponoka on Jan. 27.
Hofer is charged with break and enter, failing to comply with release conditions, and theft under $5,000.
Letourneau-Janveau has been charged with possession of break-in instruments, break and enter, failing to comply with release conditions, and theft under $5,000.
Both Hofer and Letourneau-Janveaux were held for Judicial Interim release hearings. Letourneau-Janveaux was remanded for court on Jan. 30 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Wetaskiwin. Hofer was remanded into custody with his next court date set for Feb. 1, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Wetaskiwin.
