The Port McNeill community delivers with their donations for the RCMP Cram the Cruiser event!
The Port McNeill RCMP say significant amount of donations received for the Cram the Cruiser event which took place on Dec. 9. A large number of people attended to donate non-perishable items for the local food bank, along with financial contributions. This is an annual event put on by the local RCMP detachment with the unwavering support of local businesses and volunteers.
“Despite the outdoor event taking place during a storm and community-wide power outage, people kept showing up throughout the day to give back to those in need
,” said Corporal Spencer Mylymok. “In addition to all the donated food, we were able to raise almost $2,500 in cash and gift cards. We’d like to express our appreciation for those who took the time to volunteer and donate
