Police are looking to speak with witnesses after one individual was located deceased in a mobile home in Sooke, BC.
On April 11, 2026, at around 3:20 a.m., Sooke RCMP responded to a residence located in a mobile home park in the 7000 block of West Coast Rd in Sooke, BC after a man was located deceased under suspicious circumstances. As officers gathered initial evidence at the scene, they were able to obtain information about a suspect vehicle believed to be associated with the incident. The vehicle was located approximately an hour later by West Shore RCMP and both occupants were arrested.
The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) has since taken over the investigation while being assisted by the West Shore and Sooke RCMP officers.
“VIIMCU investigators are seeking any sightings or dash cam footage of a red MINI Cooper between the hours of midnight and 4 a.m. on April 11, 2026 between Sooke and West Shore Parkway in Langford, BC.,” said Corporal Alex Bérubé, spokesperson with the RCMP.
