A 32-year-old man is dead following a stabbing at a Brampton residence early Friday morning, say Peel Regional Police.
Jaiden Brett-Hughes, 26, of Mississauga, and Tandaeka Frazer, 31, of Brampton were arrested and charged. Both are scheduled to appear for bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Monday, Dec. 29.
Officers were called to a home near Main Street North and Church Street East around 7:45 a.m. on Dec. 26 after a 911 call reported a stabbing. Police found the victim inside the residence with serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the incident appears to be isolated and there is no ongoing threat to public safety. Police are not looking for any additional suspects.
