Stony Plain, Alta. – The Alberta RCMP’s Community Response Team with the assistance of the Parkland RCMP and Parkland RCMP Crime Reduction Unit conclude a drug trafficking investigation.
On Dec. 11, 2025, the Alberta Community Response Team executed a search warrant at a residence near 52 Avenue and 49 Street in Stony Plain. Police arrested Amanda Macdonald, a 43-year-old resident of Stony Plain.
As a result of the investigation, police located and seized:
- 253 Grams of Methamphetamine
- 5 Tablets of LSD
- 28 Grams of Cocaine
- 13 Grams of Psilocybin
- 181 Pills of Hydromorphone
- 10 Grams of Heroin
- 510 Millilitres of GBH
- $14.785 Canadian Currency
- Imitation Firearm
- Baton
Amanda Macdonald is charged with:
- Trafficking a controlled substance (x2);
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (x6);
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (x2); and,
- Possession of property obtained by crime.
As a result of the search warrant, police also arrested two males for outstanding warrants.
Amanda Macdonald was taken before a Justice of the Peace and released. She is to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Albert on Dec. 17, 2025.
